unripe

1、un-(不) + ripe(熟) = 没熟。水果没熟、麦子没熟、时机没成熟、人还嫩，都能用：unripe fruit、an unripe idea。
2、ripe 一家一起记：ripe 成熟的、ripen 使成熟、unripe 未熟。这个 un- 加 ripe 的组合在古英语就有了。
3、近义可以换着用：green 也常指"没熟的"。反义 ripe 已熟、mature 成熟。重音落在后半，读 /ʌnˈraɪp/。
